Acupuncture for Addictions
Debbie Stevens is a clinical addictions and mental health counselor and is licensed to provide the nada 5 point ear acupuncture protocol for addictions including nicotine and other drugs.
The National Institute of Health concluded in 1997 that there was sufficient evidence to support acupuncture therapy including treatment for addictions. A study in the American Journal of Public Health, Oct 2002 showed that the combinations of acupuncture and smoking cessation group education demonstrated almost twice the cessation rate as education and sham acupuncture. There are currently several thousand NADA (www.acudetox.com) trained practitioners worldwide.
Debbie is available for individual and group smoking cessation counseling with acupuncture, acupuncture for other addictions and provides auricular acupuncture for Access to Recovery clients;
