Union Hospital Terre Haute and Clinton Named 2011 Most Wireless

Union Hospital's Terre Haute and Clinton Hospital's have been recognized as two of the nation's MOST WIRELESS according to the results of the 2011 Most Wired Survey by Hospitals & Health Networks magazine.

Hospitals understand the importance of health information technology (IT) and the benefits of its widespread adoption, yet as a field still face significant barriers to implementation according to a newly released survey of America's Most Wired hospitals and health systems.

Best Places to Work in Healthcare

Modern Healthcare, the healthcare industry's leading news publication, honored Union Hospital with a Best Places to Work in Healthcare award. This award recognizes healthcare organizations on a national level that have successfully built workplace excellence and enabled employees to perform at their optimal level.

Union Hospital Receives 2011 Tribune Star Readers' Choice Award

Union Hospital has been voted Best Hospital and Best Place to Work in the 2011 Tribune Star Readers' Choice Awards.

Soliant Names 2011 Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in America

Once again, Union Hospital made Soliant Health's Most Beautiful Hospitals in America Top 20 list. Union Hospital ranked number 14. The judges made the following comments: "According to Modern Healthcare

magazine, Terre Haute's Union Hospital provides one of the country's best work environments for its employees. And it's easy to see how from a visual perspective: This is not only one of the best looking hospital interiors in the U.S. – in our opinion – one of the coolest looking ones as well."

Union Hospital Named Consumer Choice Award Recipient

Union Hospital has been recognized by National Research Corporation (NRC) as the 2010/2011 Consumer Choice Award winner for the Terre Haute area. The award identifies hospitals that healthcare consumers have chosen as having the highest quality and image in over 300 markets throughout the United States.

Union Hospital Named One of Indiana's Best Places to Work

Union Hospital was once again named one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana in 2011. This is the third consecutive year for Union to make the list in the category for large companies with 250 or more employees.

The award program, managed by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, was created in 2006 to recognize the top companies in the state based on employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys.
