printChildren's Classic Run
for children in need of Pediatric Therapy

Join Us Saturday September 25th

CC RunOnce a year the streets around the Wabash Valley are filled with the sights and sounds of children filled with the enthusiasm and energy that comes from helping other children during the Union Hospital’s Children’s Classic Run.

Unlike a race, the Children’s Classic Run does not encourage participants to run faster than their opponents. It gives children the goal of helping other children who live in the same community. The annual one mile fun run/walk raises funds for Union Hospital Pediatric Therapy.

Union Hospital’s pediatric therapists see more than 350 children from throughout the Wabash Valley each month. They provide therapy for children with cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, and other developmental disorders or special needs who are not able to run, jump, play or walk. Children who receive therapy on a consistent basis build their muscles and learn essential skills. But when treatment stops there is a definite set back. For many children who need therapy, insurance and government programs do not cover all the treatments needed.

All participants in this award-winning event raise funds to help these children continue their therapy and grow stronger.
